Background & Context
Standards in literacy are a key issue in raising attainment across the board since access to the curriculum is at stake. As a core skill for employability, literacy also plays an important role in determining life chances. The development of viable strategies for literacy across the curriculum was therefore identified as one of the development priorities for Swindon Ten.
